SEN Information and Policy

Our policy is to provide an environment in which children with special educational needs or disabilities are supported to reach their full potential.

• Our premises are purpose built offering disabled access including wide doorways and a ramp.

• Claire Lowe is our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). She is responsible for leading provision for children with special educational needs or disabilities. Claire is trained and experienced in SEN and attends regular training to update her knowledge. 

• All practitioners attend in-house training to ensure up to date knowledge.

• We work closely with other professionals to ensure a consistent approach e.g. hearing impairment service, speech & language therapists,

• We use the BLAST language programme and Letters and Sounds to aid language development

• Small group work
